Memories of Bygone Days


Because of a misunderstanding, he lost his first calling.
He found himself having to start over with just $600.00 in his pocket and a stipend from the Denomination to see him through to his next assignment.  Barely able to get by with a wife and kids.

But, he never lost his Positive Faith.
He looked that mountain right in the face and said "MOVE!"

This may not be what most would consider as "About Us,"  But Pastor Rusty River seemed to have a lot of "interesting" ideas.

As far as he was and is concerned, there is no difference between "about us,"  and about him.  We are all just one  big family.

There is more Good News!

 
And so he began all over again, still dreaming. 
Few of us remember such as were those humble beginnings.

Too bad that a congregation of less than several thousand Pastor Rusty considers beneath his "dignity."

Aren't we lucky his views are shared by so few pastors?

Just look at us now!
Thank you Pastor Rusty for hanging in there and holding onto your dreams.
Because of those dreams we now worship together in the midst of untold splendor like the world has never seen!
