What happened to the Middle East, the cradle of Christianity?
More and more we are being called upon to soften the perceived harshness of Christianity, its judgmental character, in order not to alienate non-believers.
Does legalization of abortion, divorce and homosexuality change God's views on these and other such subjects? Should such action affect a Christian's attitude and/or behavior on them? Maybe instead of boycotting we should just approach those involved in such behaviors and let them know they're playing with fire - eternally.
"I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot."
Scripturally, nothing is said about the restoration of Israel.
Do we "split hairs" over matters of humanly devised doctrines?
Do we need to evangelize Jews and Muslims alike?
If every Christian diligently studied the Word, would we have the moral questions confronting us today?
How would Jesus respond if He saw us just sitting in church knowing that we thought that was all we had to do?
Using the church primarily for evangelism leaves a great deal to be desired.
Those who seek the head table are revealing their inadequacies.
Jesus didn't just commission the eleven.
It is not in the wisdom of men where we should seek Truth
How differently do we treat Jesus than Judas?
What we find is that Christians outside of church (sometimes even in church) are indistinguishable from the herd.
Is Christianity supposed to be a collection of "rugged individualists" who stand alone unconcerned about the welfare (spiritual and material) of others of their "faith?"
If those "blab-it-and-grab-it" preachers really knew and understood the Word.
What is "significance, a "meaningful life," or enjoying the "good things in life" for a Christian?
How is it that so many Christians appear to admire, and in too many instances emulate the defunct behavior of "Hollywood stars" and other celebrities?
Are the Sacraments the the property of the "church" and the "clergy?"
Is there a "lynchpin" to Christian Theology? If so, what is it?
Where did all the Prophets go a long time passing?
Why do we hire people to do what we are supposed to be doing?
The substitution of anything other than Jesus the Christ as our foundation is heretical.
